Media Case Study

As a student in the humanities, I am always striving to learn the why, especially in marketing decisions. For this collaborative project, my partner and I researched how mainstreaming women’s sexual empowerment since the sexual revolution has impacted female pop stars at various points in their careers.

Analyzing music videos for sexual content does not seem like a valuable skill for marketing, but continuing to develop my critical-cultural analysis of the world helps with understand target audiences’ wants and needs. Along with jointly researching and writing this case study, I created the layout and design in Canva.
